Requirements:

• Commercial experience as a Java Developer, familiar with Spring/Springboot framework
• Microservices experience is essential
• Experience with payment platform is a plus
• Experience working with AWS technology such as Lambda, EC2 & PostgreSQL
• Experience with React is preferable
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks like JUnit
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Github Actions
• Experience with build tools such as Gradle, Maven
• Writing clear, concise and well-documented code.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-code solution, such as Terraform or similar.
• Exposure to secure and defensive programming.

Responsibilities:  

• Design and implement API assets/applications.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements and deliverables as specified
• Ensure delivery of quality, unit test coverage and the creation of development artefacts.
• Create, maintain and reuse of Development assets e.g. libraries, test cases, plans, scripts, documentation
• Agility in accommodating Absorbing changes in scope or design.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing long-term fixes to bugs.
• Identifying and proactively resolving and/or escalating development issues to the team leader.
